The In-Home Services Supervisor oversees Anson County’s in-home care and respite care program for eligible older adults. The role supervises in-home aides providing respite care, home management, and personal assistance, and ensures services follow state guidelines and remain within budget. The position also responds to complaints, discusses care needs with family members, and helps resolve problems involving aides, clients, and families. The work involves substantial time in the field and is performed independently under the supervision of the Elderly Services Director. The supervisor assesses client needs and service referrals, develops and evaluates service plans, monitors care quality, maintains records, and prepares reports. The role coordinates with community social and health agencies, refers clients to other services, contacts physicians as needed, and serves as a resource to clients, aides, and the community. It also includes staff scheduling, orientation, competency testing, in-service training, and employee performance evaluations, as well as training on program services and reporting requirements and related program duties.
