IN HOME SALES SPECIALIST
About The Position
SerClean is a trusted restoration company specializing in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and reconstruction services. They are seeking a driven, customer-focused In-Home Sales Specialist to meet with homeowners following emergency property damage events and guide them through the restoration process. This is a consultative sales role with no cold calling, as all appointments are company-generated leads. The specialist will meet customers in their homes, assess damage, provide solutions, and secure work authorizations during the initial visit. This role is ideal for a strong relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping people during challenging situations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales or in-home sales experience
- Proven ability to close sales in a consultative environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, emergency-service environment
- Proficiency with tablets, mobile applications, and CRM systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Restoration, remediation, roofing, HVAC, or construction sales experience
- Experience working with insurance claims
- Estimating or scope-development experience
- Home services sales background
- One-call-close sales experience
Responsibilities
- Meet homeowners at scheduled in-home appointments
- Assess water, mold, fire, and other property damage situations
- Develop restoration scopes of work and present recommended solutions
- Build trust through empathy, professionalism, and clear communication
- Secure signed work authorizations and close sales opportunities
- Educate homeowners on the restoration process and next steps
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure successful project execution
- Communicate with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly
- Respond quickly to new leads and customer needs
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed
