About The Position

Floor Coverings International of Chester County is seeking an experienced flooring sales professional who wants more than a traditional retail sales position. We provide the tools, support, and qualified opportunities to help you build a highly successful business while delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Design Associate, you'll meet homeowners in their homes, guide them through flooring selections, create solutions that fit their needs, and manage projects from consultation through installation. Requirements

Previous flooring sales experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to close sales and build relationships.
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently.
Ability to network and generate referral business.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation history.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home flooring consultations.
Help homeowners select flooring products that fit their style, lifestyle, and budget.
Measure spaces and prepare proposals.
Follow up on estimates and close sales.
Coordinate with project management and installation teams.
Deliver a high-touch customer experience throughout the project.
Build and maintain relationships with realtors, designers, builders, networking groups, and referral partners.
Develop your own book of business in addition to company-provided opportunities.
