The Counter Sales Representative will assist customers in the showroom with purchasing, order pick-up, and providing product knowledge within the flooring industry.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree.
0-1 year of customer service, sales, and/or showroom experience.
Experience working with Point of Sales systems (POS).
Basic math skills and reading comprehension skills.
Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching.
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in customers.
Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs.
Direct customers to appropriate products and displays.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails regarding products, pricing, and order information.
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
Support sales representatives, customer care, and other departments as needed.
Process sales orders and quotes.
Follow OSHA and company safety regulations.
Use proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.
Maintain showroom displays, product samples, and merchandising standards.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
