About The Position

Art of Drawers of East Tennessee is seeking an outgoing, motivated In-Home Sales & Design Consultant to join their growing team. This is a flexible, commission-based independent contractor opportunity. The role involves meeting with homeowners in their homes to understand their needs and design customized solutions using pull-out drawers, cabinet organization products, and cabinet refacing options. It is an in-home sales role with a design component where consultants build rapport, uncover needs, recommend solutions, present pricing, and close sales through a consultative, customer-focused approach. The company invests in marketing and partnerships to generate appointments, and consultants are encouraged to develop their own opportunities through relationships and referrals. No prior design experience is required, as the company provides comprehensive training, tools, and support.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners in their homes to understand their needs for improving the function and appearance of their spaces.
• Design customized solutions using pull-out drawers, cabinet organization products, and cabinet refacing options.
• Build rapport with clients, uncover their needs, recommend solutions, present pricing, and close sales.
• Develop additional sales opportunities through relationships, referrals, and networking.
• Combine company-generated opportunities with self-generated business for greater control over appointments and earning potential.
