About The Position
HomeCare Advocacy Network (HCAN) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their caregiving team. This role involves providing high-quality, non-medical support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. It's an opportunity to bring comfort, companionship, and care to those who need it most.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Have reliable transportation and are willing to travel locally
- Are kind, compassionate, and patient
- Have strong communication skills
- Are dependable and trustworthy
Nice To Haves
- No experience necessary, as paid training is provided
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities
- Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Support with bathing, hygiene, and mobility
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Ensure home safety and fall prevention
- Offer respite care for family caregivers
