About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are looking for individuals committed to improving the lives of our clients and meeting our high standards of care. This is a part-time position focused on hands-on assistance in the Salem, Oregon area. The role requires a male caregiver who is also a driver.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 21 (to be able to purchase Tobacco and alcohol for clients).
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Must have valid Driver's License.
- Proof of current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
- CNA and HCA certifications are desired.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
