About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for part-time positions in the Salem, Oregon area. The ideal candidate will be a male caregiver who is also a driver, committed to meeting our high standards of care and improving the lives of our clients. We offer paid training, including 8 hours if needed, and provide a competitive hourly wage of $23.00. Requirements
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Must have valid Driver's License.
- Proof of current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must be over the age of 21.
Nice To Haves
- CNA and HCA certifications are preferred.
- Experience with purchasing tobacco and alcohol for clients.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
