Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of in-home sales, outside sales, or consultative sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage your schedule and pipeline independently.
  • Confidence in a one-call-close sales environment.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends when customers are most available.
  • Ability to lift and move product samples and materials weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable traveling throughout an assigned market and managing a schedule that includes multiple in-home appointments per day.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners and provide customized flooring solutions.
  • Build trust quickly by understanding customer needs, lifestyle considerations, and project goals.
  • Present curated product selections and design recommendations that help customers make confident decisions.
  • Prepare accurate measurements and project estimates.
  • Educate and present customers with financing options and available promotions.
  • Drive the sale from consultation to signed agreement, with the expectation of earning the customer's business during the initial appointment.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to installation.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals.
