About The Position

BrightStar Care is hiring an In Home CNA to provide individualized support to clients in their homes. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Shifts range from 1 to 12 hours, with flexible scheduling and full-time and part-time hours available. Pay is $30 per hour for 1-hour shifts, $22.50 per hour for 2-hour shifts, and a base rate of $19–$22 per hour for shifts of 3 hours or longer, based on experience. The position includes coordination with the RN Case Manager to keep the plan of care up to date. Requirements

Have a compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Have experience providing hands-on care in a setting such as home health, assisted living, a group home, or a hospital.
Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Have a negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
Be available to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
Communicate with the RN Case Manager as part of the care coordination team to update the plan of care.
