About The Position

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is seeking passionate In-Home Clinicians to join their team in Charlton. This is a clinical position focused on empowering youth and families through community-based support. The role involves conducting individual, family, and group counseling, assisting caregivers in navigating systems and accessing resources, and empowering them with skills to support their child's behavioral health needs. Clinicians will create care plans, promote family support systems, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community organizations to ensure coordinated care and respect for client rights, particularly regarding cultural competency.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
  • Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling using trauma informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families.
  • Assist caregivers in navigating systems, to promote their awareness of resources and access to supports.
  • Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their child’s behavioral health needs.
  • Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients.
  • Promote and strengthen family’s natural supports to foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the child, parents, and other providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.
  • Ensure that client’s rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency.
  • Collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services and care for clients.
