About The Position

Comfort Keepers is seeking a reliable and compassionate part-time caregiver to provide personalized in-home support to a senior client in the Weatherford area. This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who desires a flexible schedule while making a significant positive impact on a senior's daily life. The role involves providing one-on-one senior care, assisting with various daily living activities, and fostering independence and safety for the client.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of senior caregiving experience in an agency, facility, or private-care setting
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Able to communicate consistently by phone, text, or email regarding scheduling and client updates

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Dementia care experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a home with small dogs

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Helping with personal hygiene and daily routines
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Offering medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with basic meal planning
• Completing light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands when needed
• Encouraging independence while maintaining client safety and dignity
• Communicating changes or concerns to the office team
• Following the client’s individualized care plan
• Providing appropriate support and guidance to family members when needed

Benefits

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour based on experience and CNA certification
• Additional $1.50/hour weekend differential
