In Home Caregiver
About The Position
Kennedy Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver, also known as a Life Care Professional, to provide high-quality assistance with daily living activities to clients, enabling them to remain independent in their homes. This role is crucial in delivering respectful and compassionate care. The position is located in Kawkawlin, MI, with potential for additional hours within a 25-mile radius. The starting hours are approximately 9 per week, with a schedule typically falling between Monday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., aiming to support work-life balance. Kennedy Care has been providing home care services since 2003 and offers personalized care including nanny services, in-home care, and ABA therapy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to commute within a 25-mile radius
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Proficiency with mobile apps and technology
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Provide a supportive environment that builds trust with clients and their families.
- Communicate client changes or health concerns directly with your care team.
- Complete necessary training and education with our electronic HR software.
- Use electronic software for timekeeping.
