About The Position
Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate and reliable In-home Caregiver to provide exceptional care to clients in Centre County. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities in their homes to promote their independence and well-being.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Assist with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the Village Caregiving team
