About The Position
Best Home Health Care LLC is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dependable caregiver to assist an elderly woman in her home in Ocala, Florida. This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring individual looking for a consistent weekday schedule with weekends off! The family has a very small, friendly puppy, so applicants must be comfortable around dogs. It is a pet-friendly home with a very nice woman to work with.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Experience caring for elderly individuals preferred
- Ability to perform light household duties
- Good communication skills
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a small dog
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping (mopping and sweeping floors)
- Laundry and folding clothes
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy
- Meal preparation
- Taking out the trash
- Occasionally assisting with grocery shopping
- Providing companionship and general assistance as needed
