About The Position

Actively Hiring In Home Caregivers for 12-hour AM and NOC shifts in La Jolla, CA. Cheer Home Care is looking for compassionate individuals to provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home. Requirements

• Helping with activities of daily living
• Dementia Care Experience
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and physical support (up to 100-150lbs)
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled.
• Provide companionship.
• Provide personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Provide transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Provide specialized care for Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Hospice, and more.
• Provide hourly care.
• Perform light housekeeping and organization.
