In Home Caregiver
About The Position
Kennedy Care is seeking a compassionate and high-quality In-Home Caregiver, also known as a Life Care Professional, to join their team in Elyria, OH. This role involves providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to enable clients to remain independent in their homes. Kennedy Care has been a trusted provider of home care services since 2003, offering personalized care including nanny services, in-home care, and ABA therapy. The company mission is to empower individuals passionate about making a difference while pursuing personal and professional growth. As a Life Care Professional, you will provide respectful and compassionate care, build trust with clients and their families, communicate client changes to the care team, and utilize electronic software for training and timekeeping.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to commute within a 25-mile radius
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Proficiency with mobile apps and technology
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Provide a supportive environment that builds trust with clients and their families.
- Communicate client changes or health concerns directly with your care team.
- Complete necessary training and education with our electronic HR software.
- Use electronic software for timekeeping.
