BED - In-Home Caregiver – Flexible Hours
About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring dependable In-Home Caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in Salem, New Hampshire. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling. Paid training is available for applicants who are new to caregiving. The caregiver provides companionship and emotional support, assists clients with personal care and daily activities, and helps with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility, medication reminders, errands, and appointments. The caregiver reports changes in a client’s condition and follows the client’s care plan.
Requirements
- Be reliable, compassionate, and dependable.
- Be comfortable working independently in a client’s home.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have reliable transportation when required.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving or home care experience is a plus; applicants without experience may be trained.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care and daily activities.
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with mobility.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Help with errands and appointments when needed.
- Report changes in the client’s condition.
