About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for a lead caregiver position with part-time and full-time hours available in the Portland Area, Oregon. This role requires a flexible schedule, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Our caregivers are essential to our mission of improving the lives of the clients we serve and upholding our high standards of care.
Requirements
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must be over the age of 21.
Nice To Haves
- CNA and HCA certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
