About The Position
ComForCare Home Care is hiring a reliable male Spanish-speaking caregiver to assist an adult male with Cerebral Palsy in Chula Vista. This role involves providing hands-on respite care, assisting with morning routines, and helping the client with outings and errands. The client does not speak English.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish (Spanish-only household)
- Male caregiver required based on client care needs and transfer requirements
- Physical ability to perform heavy transfers safely
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, active auto insurance, and vehicle registration (comfortable driving your own vehicle as needed)
- Registered CDSS Home Care Aide (or willing to register upon hire)
- Negative TB test result within the last 3 months
Responsibilities
- Full physical transfers (bed to wheelchair and vice versa)
- Morning shower assistance
- Driving the client to medical appointments in the client’s vehicle and accompanying him inside
- Assisting with grocery shopping
