About The Position

At Preferred Care at Home of North Nashville, we are actively seeking a dedicated male caregiver to support a client transitioning home from a rehabilitation facility. We need a compassionate, strong, and dependable team member to help ensure a smooth, safe, and comfortable recovery process right at home. Requirements

• Consistent availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Male required due to the physical strength needed to assist the client with transfer training and safely standing without help.
• Experience with post-rehab mobility support, fall prevention, and assisting clients in regaining independent movement safely.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (due to insurance and client transportation requirements).
• Hold a valid Driver's License.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• 1 year of caregiving experience required (both professional employment and personal family care count!).

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with transfer training and safely standing without help.
• Provide post-rehab mobility support.
• Implement fall prevention strategies.
• Assist clients in regaining independent movement safely.
