About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is hiring compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers in Northbrook, IL and nearby communities. If you enjoy providing one-on-one care and helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home, we’d love to meet you! This role involves providing one-on-one, non-medical in-home care based on each client’s individual needs. The primary service area includes Northbrook and surrounding communities such as Glenview, Deerfield, Glencoe, Highland Park, Wilmette, Winnetka, Skokie, Morton Grove, Niles, and Park Ridge. Caregivers who live in or near Northbrook and are willing to travel to nearby client homes are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the last 2 years
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to nearby client homes
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Smartphone for communication and care documentation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care based on each client’s individual needs.
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Companionship and meaningful social engagement
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation and hydration reminders
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Monitoring client well-being and documenting daily care activities
