Requirements
- An empathetic, client-focused individual with prior experience handling dementia care and mechanical transfer tools like Hoyer lifts.
- Absolute dependability and punctuality are required.
- Must pass a background check, have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a reliable vehicle, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Support seniors with specialized memory care, utilizing patience and understanding for clients with dementia.
- Provide vital, hands-on personal hygiene assistance, including safe bathing support and dignified brief care.
- Safely guide and transfer clients with significant mobility restrictions using Hoyer lifts.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as preparing nutritious meals, light tidying, medication management, and driving clients to appointments.
- Provide clear communication and documentation regarding the client’s daily status.
