You will help create a safe, positive experience for every client by honoring their dignity and independence. Depending on their specific care plan, your daily duties may include: Companionship: Providing meaningful conversation, engagement, and emotional support. Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and general hygiene. Meal Preparation: Preparing food according to dietary needs and assisting with feeding if required. Light Housekeeping: Managing laundry, dishes, trash, and general tidying up. Medication Reminders: Prompting clients to take scheduled medications. Mobility Assistance: Aiding with safe transfers, repositioning, and using mobility equipment. Environment: One-on-one care provided in private residences Transportation: Driving the client to medical appointments, errands, and approved outings. Type: In-home, non-medical caregiving Respite Care: Giving family caregivers a reliable, well-deserved break. Documentation: Logging shift activities and communicating any changes in the client's condition.
