About The Position

AmeriCare Plus, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver (CNA, NA, or PCA) to provide in-home personal care to a Male Client in Waynesboro, VA. The client needs assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL). This is a part-time, smoke-free, pet-free home position with a consistent schedule of 3-hour shifts on Monday - Friday from 9 am to 12 pm. Additional hours may be available for caregivers willing to travel. This role offers meaningful one-on-one work and is located on a bus route.

Requirements

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for those interested in PCA certification)
• Reliable transportation and valid Virginia driver's license
• Social Security card & 2 professional references
• Must pass background check per State and Federal requirements
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Respectful and professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

• Experience with or appreciation for veterans a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist client with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair)
• Prepare light meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
