About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients near the Burnsville and Bloomington areas. The role is based in private homes and focuses on promoting clients’ safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Requirements

Have a compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Have experience providing hands-on care in a setting such as home health, assisted living, a group home, or a hospital.
Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
Provide a negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
Be available to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
Participate in the care coordination team and communicate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
