About The Position
Senior Helpers of Waxhaw & Monroe maintains a commitment to excellence through selective hiring. We are seeking highly qualified caregivers—including HHAs, PCAs, and CNAs—to support seniors throughout Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Rowan counties. Because we provide top-tier support to our clients, we utilize a rigorous hiring process to ensure we onboard only the most skilled, reliable, and compassionate professionals in the field. Requirements
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Must pass background and Drug screenings
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Participate in client preferred activities (e.g., gardening, games, crafts)
- Prepare meals and support light household tasks
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ physical or cognitive condition
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies
