In Home Caregiver for Veterans
About The Position
Kennedy Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their Patriot Care team as In-Home Caregivers for Veterans (Life Care Professionals). Since 2003, Kennedy Care has provided high-quality home care services, including nanny services, in-home care, and ABA therapy. This role focuses on providing respectful, compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to help veterans maintain independence in their homes, ensuring they receive the honor and dignity they deserve. The company emphasizes a supportive, growth-oriented environment that values its caregivers and promotes diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to commute within a 25-mile radius
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Proficiency with mobile apps and technology
Responsibilities
- Assist veterans with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Provide a supportive environment that builds trust with veterans and their families.
- Communicate veteran changes or health concerns directly with your care team.
- Complete necessary training and education with our electronic HR software.
- Use electronic software for timekeeping.
