About The Position
Chrysalis is seeking to hire full-time or part-time In Home Care Givers. This entry-level position supports individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives. The role offers shifts that can work with your schedule and is a rewarding experience in human services where you can make a difference. The starting wage is competitive at $14.50-$15.50/hr, depending on experience. Full-time employees receive excellent benefits including health insurance.
Requirements
- No experience needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you.
Responsibilities
- Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
- Assist with participating in fun activities.
- Assist with budgeting.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Help individuals try new things.
- Assist with shopping.
- Mentor individuals to learn new skills.
