About The Position

Dashi Rivers, part of the Kennedy Care family of companies, is seeking a compassionate and motivated In Home Behavior Technician (BT) to join their team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children and families, helping them grow, learn, and thrive. The Behavior Technician will play a key role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy sessions, following individualized treatment plans, tracking progress, collecting data, and using positive, evidence-based strategies to support skill development. Collaboration with families and supervisors is essential to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be involved in physical floor play including but not limited to bending and reaching
  • Experienced RBTs MUST possess valid RBT credential number on the BACB website

Nice To Haves

  • RBT Certification
  • Experience working with children and/or background in Special Education, Psychology, Mental or Behavioral Health
  • Energetic, empathetic, and passionate about working with children or adults with special needs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions as a Behavior Technician in home and center settings
  • Follow individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA as a Behavior Technician
  • Track progress and collect session data accurately during ABA therapy sessions
  • Use positive, evidence-based strategies as a Behavior Technician to support skill development
  • Partner with families and supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA therapy
