Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is expanding its team and looking for individuals who are ready to turn compassion into action. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Each session focuses on helping your client make progress toward individualized goals, which may include communication, social skills, behavior, and greater independence with everyday activities. New to ABA? That’s okay. We provide paid training, ongoing mentorship, and clinical support to help you learn Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and develop the skills needed to succeed in the role. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives. Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors. ABA is all about celebrating progress—whether it’s learning to communicate a need, completing a daily routine, interacting with others, or reaching a new milestone. Each session is an opportunity to help a child build confidence, develop new skills, and become more independent at home and in the community. At ABTC, we believe that when our employees are supported, our clients thrive. We are committed to helping our team grow through mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities for advancement. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in: Psychology, Child Development, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Special Education, Speech or Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Healthcare.
