About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian for the Jersey Shore, NJ area, including Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, Jackson Township, Howell Township, and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a balanced life, with a supportive community of veterinarians and professionals, ongoing training, and seasoned mentors.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Practice medicine that aligns with personal values and provides emotional fulfillment.
