About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join their team in San Fernando, Burbank, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Stevenson Ranch, CA and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and work-life balance, with a supportive community of veterinarians and professionals. Veterinarian-founded and owned, Lap of Love provides ongoing training, mentorship, and dedicated practice managers to ensure success and connection.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
