About The Position

The Job Placement Program is a temporary work placement program which allows our most talented frontline Team Members to gain professional work experience and networking opportunities by completing temporary work assignments in our theme park offices. The goal is to prepare frontline Team Members to transition into full-time careers!

Requirements

  • Willingness to work late evenings, overnights, early mornings and holidays
  • Comfortable working in low light and various weather conditions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute designs from production design packets, including ground plans, elevations, and details
  • Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills, effective time management, composure under pressure, and leadership
  • A strong understanding of timing and cadence in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in theater, theme park entertainment, production or relevant experience
  • Eligibility: Attendance - TM must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months
  • Eligibility: Variance - TM must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months
  • Eligibility: Behavioral - No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months
  • Eligibility: Probationary Status - TM must have passed or be within 75% Through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role
  • Must be current USH Team Member
  • Must have full open availability

Responsibilities

  • Study design packets and any creative materials and meet with design team to become familiarized with creative intent for installation
  • Report to job site during install hours to act as creative voice in-field
  • Oversee installation of elements during install hours from a creative standpoint - ensuring decor matches intended concept
  • Guide installers on properly installing decor - ensuring all decor is show ready for guests at end of shift
  • Make key decisions when challenges arise that protect creative intent
  • Elevate concerns/issues when more impactful challenges arise, elevating to In-Field Art Supervisor and Production Designer as necessary
  • Write detailed reports after each install shift describing what occurred each night for the design team to review in the morning
