Each semester, the student employee will schedule, publicize, facilitate, and monitor weekend daytime or weekday evening life drawing sessions that focus on the figure in the BCA 125 Drawing Studio. The position consists of organizational and administrative tasks and monitoring life drawing sessions. The coordinator is responsible for facilitating life drawing sessions by setting up model stands and still-life settings, instructing the model on the types and duration of poses, making sure the model has adequate breaks, and performing studio maintenance and clean up. The coordinator is expected to communicate with the art studio faculty who also work in the BCA 125 Drawing Studio on the shared use of the space. The monitor will be supervised by and communicate with the Drawing Faculty and the Studio Art Technical Assistant. This position has the potential to be held for the full academic year. Students may reapply for the position each year.
