About The Position

Jackson Dawson is seeking an Automotive In-Dealership Facilitator to support a dealership training program for a major automotive client. This role is focused on improving the performance of sales and customer-facing teams through hands-on, in-person training. The trainer will deliver programs centered on customer service excellence, relationship building, and foundational sales techniques. This individual should bring experience from automotive retail or a similar customer-facing sales environment, along with a strong passion for coaching teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales training, dealership operations, or customer experience coaching
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and reinforce core sales skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt training styles as needed
  • Proven coaching ability with a focus on driving behavioral change
  • Comfortable working on-site in a dealership environment
  • Ability to frequently walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch in a dealership setting
  • Willingness to travel Monday through Friday across the U.S. for the duration of the program (home on weekends)

  • Automotive retail experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, in-person training sessions on customer service best practices and core sales fundamentals
  • Coach dealership staff on rapport building, active listening, and identifying customer needs
  • Train teams across the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through closing
  • Reinforce Sales 101 principles, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, objection handling, and closing
  • Provide real-time coaching through observation, role-play, and one-on-one feedback
  • Partner with dealership leadership to identify performance gaps and tailor training solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned dealership teams
  • Participate in ongoing trainer development sessions
  • Complete weekly administrative tasks, including time/expense reporting and status updates
  • Support additional program needs as required
