About The Position

Our Sales Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to our Sales organization on pricing related activities. This position collects and reviews pricing and sales inputs and requests, creates quotes and sales proposals, provides overflow and backup services to other pricing jobs, and develops and distributes appropriate reporting. Requirements

  • Must have strong math aptitude and skills, excellent communication skills as well as expert Excel skills.
  • 3+ years experience in international logistics
  • 5-10 years of related job experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Audit system interfaces and address system failures (customer and internal).
  • Perform invoicing on customer specific portals Ariba and Xign.
  • Research and troubleshoot a variety of pricing, costing, account, and sales order issues in multiple systems to include UNIFY and VOS (SFD).
  • Ensure all bill-to account setup requests are accurate and conducted in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data integrity to guarantee correct contract pricing on sales transactions.
  • Coordinate and track worldwide shipments (ocean & air) from origin to final destination in the most efficient and cost-effective method.
  • Monitor deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintain accurate logs of transportation of shipments.
  • Investigate and recommend optimal logistics solutions considering price and time to market requirements.
  • Prepare rate quotes for standard, rush & special deliveries.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with external parties to ensure timely shipment of product.
  • Create, prepare and organize documents and reports that pertain to imported product purchase transactions.
  • Calculate weights and sizes to optimize ocean shipments.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with internal staff including but not limited to: Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service and Finance.
  • Efficiently solve problems related to sales, finance & transportation of goods shipped internationally.
  • Review & verify charges on vendor’s commercial invoices against purchase orders, review & verify all invoices for logistics costs including but not limited to: brokerage, ocean freight, duty, etc., calculate landed loads, record logistics expenses for every shipment.
  • Ensure that logistics costs are consistently managed and allocated correctly before billing orders and review monthly statement of import logistics partners accounts and freight invoices and distribution for costing.
  • Ensure proper HTS classification and 7501 entry accuracy.
