To provide customers with the highest quality service by providing consistent customer service and shipment processing in order to ensure timely movement of freight/cargo. This role involves preparing, analyzing, and submitting documentation in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to transportation. The agent will anticipate, identify, and resolve problems that could delay the timely release or movement of freight, and maintain relationships with correspondent brokers, T&B, and other service providers to ensure customer service requirements are exceeded. Responsibilities include resolving banking and letter of credit problems, advising customers on payment terms, resolving billing issues, ensuring accurate data input, developing rates and providing quotes, and generating special manual reports. The role also involves freight forwarding functions such as coordinating customer booking requests, setting up new shippers, and assisting with restricted articles submission. The incumbent will complete import/export documentation in accordance with international trade regulations, engage with clients on billing disputes and shipment status, dispatch carriers, perform track and trace functions, work iServe cases, coordinate oversized and out-of-gauge shipments, and handle Hazmat shipments. The incumbent(s) of this position is expected to perform all other related duties as assigned.
