The Import/Export Analyst will be responsible for performing and maintaining HTSUS, Schedule B, ECCN, tariff, and license-determination reviews. This role involves reviewing technical specifications, engineering drawings, datasheets, and bills of material to support classification decisions. The analyst will also conduct AES/EEI audits, maintain export documentation, and identify export license requirements or compliance risks. Additionally, the position supports import clearance by resolving broker and carrier inquiries, conducts import entry audits, and administers denied-party screening. The role involves supporting export license reviews, end-use/end-user diligence, and various trade compliance inquiries. Collaboration with brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party providers is key, as is the creation and maintenance of import/export work instructions and compliance materials. Monitoring regulatory changes and partnering with internal departments to resolve trade compliance issues and improve processes are also core functions.
