About The Position

The Import Export Admin Coordinator will support the Import/Export Department to ensure the timely movement of international and domestic shipments in compliance with company standards, customer standards, and US Customs and Border Protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong Customer Service-oriented approach as well as accuracy in this role to maintain service levels to internal customers while retaining customs and export compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation, Logistics
  • Strong written, verbal, and inter-personal skills
  • Advanced technical/computer skills (Microsoft Office Products)
  • Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
  • Ability/desire to work independently or in team environment
  • An innovative, goal-oriented and results driven approach

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor shipments.
  • Enter and update import data to SAP.
  • Processing shipments/preparing shipping documents
  • Coordinating freight payments
  • Respond to inquiries from customs broker and forwarder.
  • Assist to help the team meet its performance objectives.
  • Maintaining organized records to support compliance efforts.

  • Monitor group mailbox and support as needed
