About The Position

Anthropic is seeking Implementation Specialists to technically deploy Claude within large enterprise customers. This role focuses on connecting Claude to customer identity providers, provisioning users, and ensuring security compliance. You will work directly with customer IT and IAM teams, debugging technical issues related to Single Sign-On (SSO) and provisioning. The goal is to establish technical credibility, ensure secure deployments, and facilitate smooth handoffs to Customer Success Managers and Technical Specialists. You should be comfortable working with enterprise security leads and have a proven track record of successful deployments. This is a technical deployment role, not focused on adoption or enablement.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Technical Account Manager, Technical Onboarding, Technical Support, Solution Architect, or technical consulting).
  • 4+ years of hands-on, sustained ownership of enterprise identity integration work (SAML, OIDC, SCIM v2, JIT provisioning) across at least two major IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Ping, Google Workspace) and familiarity with Work OS.
  • Ability to debug SAML assertions or SCIM attribute maps without escalation.
  • Proven track record running multiple concurrent enterprise deployments at F500 scale, with documented handoffs.
  • Customer-facing technical communication skills that hold up under pressure, including the ability to run working sessions with CISOs and IAM leads.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
  • Portfolio discipline: documenting as you go, hitting milestones, and managing concurrent threads.
  • Prior experience at an enterprise SaaS or AI/LLM vendor with a heavy admin/IdP surface (e.g., identity, collaboration, security, or productivity platforms).

Nice To Haves

  • Senior candidates should have experience leading the Implementation Specialist function or building deployment playbooks from scratch at a prior company.
  • Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, pharma, public sector).
  • Exposure to AI/LLM products or agentic systems.
  • Familiarity with Claude specific concepts like Skills, MCP, and Plugins.
  • Experience partnering with SI / GSI delivery partners in an ecosystem attach model.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and troubleshoot SSO (SAML, OIDC), SCIM/JIT provisioning, MCP connectors, admin policy templates, and seat-assignment logic across Okta, Entra ID, Ping, and Google Workspace.
  • Deliver informative transitions to Support for deeper issues that require investigation and/or engineering support.
  • Run technical working sessions with customer IT, IAM, and security leads, explaining Anthropic's security model, shared-responsibility boundaries, and data-handling posture.
  • Anticipate security review questions (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP) and partner with the AI Security Specialist when needed.
  • Diagnose identity edge cases live on calls, including SAML assertions, SCIM attribute maps, group-filtering issues, and tenant-provisioning quirks.
  • Author Deployment Runbooks for CSMs, detailing the as-built environment, admin contacts, known issues, and support tier.
  • Contribute to repeatable playbooks and admin documentation to scale the Implementation Specialist function.
