About The Position

North Country is seeking an Implementation Specialist with a background in the hospitality industry to help clients succeed with technology. This role involves configuring, training, and troubleshooting point-of-sale (POS) systems for restaurants, bars, and hotels. The specialist will manage installation projects from beginning to end, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project scope. Requirements

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Working knowledge of SkyTab or similar POS platforms.
• Comfort with technology and the ability to explain it to others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and document POS systems and software, including advanced network settings and third-party integrations.
• Manage installation projects from start to finish, keeping them on scope and clients satisfied.
• Train clients on POS functionality effectively.
• Analyze client needs by collaborating with Sales and the Implementation Manager.
• Stay current on PCI/DSS compliance standards.
• Deliver a consistently excellent client experience.
