About The Position

The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of payroll software solutions for clients across various industries. This position focuses on managing the end-to-end implementation process, from initial client onboarding and requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and final delivery. The specialist collaborates closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet specific business needs while adhering to timelines and quality standards. By providing expert guidance and troubleshooting throughout the implementation lifecycle, the role ensures a smooth transition and maximizes client satisfaction. Ultimately, the Implementation Specialist drives the adoption and effective use of the product, contributing to long-term client success and retention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software implementation, project management, or a related client-facing technical role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Computer science or related field
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or Payroll platform implementations.
  • Project management certification such as PMP or Agile Scrum Master.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, APIs, or scripting languages to support integration and customization.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and processes.
  • Previous experience working in a customer success or client services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of client implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments and gather technical and business requirements from clients to inform solution configuration.
  • Configure and customize software applications to meet client specifications, including data migration and system integration tasks.
  • Provide training and support to clients during and after implementation to facilitate user adoption and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or obstacles, and proactively implement solutions to keep implementations on track.
  • Document implementation processes, client interactions, and technical configurations for future reference and continuous improvement.
