About The Position

This role serves the healthcare community by effectively and efficiently managing capital medical equipment installations and IT solution implementations across the healthcare continuum for the Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business. The Project Manager will manage multiple patient monitoring system and/or therapeutic care implementations, which vary in scope, size, and complexity, including IT solutions, capital equipment installation, and systems integration. A key aspect of the role is ensuring a stellar customer experience, guided by the statement of work. The manager will coordinate, lead, and motivate a diverse cross-functional team of internal and external Sales, Clinical, and Technical resources, working in coordination with the hospital-provided project manager or point(s) of contact. Responsibilities also include ensuring site readiness, adherence to project timelines, advising on the project plan, and providing daily updates on project status and activities. This is a field-based position requiring travel up to 75% of the time within the Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa market, with occasional travel to other areas.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management and IT Integration (with a Bachelor’s Degree) or 9+ years of experience in Project Management and IT Integration
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combined experience/education in Clinical or Computer Science, Information Technology, or Project Management
  • Robust leadership skills
  • Ability to influence across all project resources/stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Reside in or within commuting distance to Illinois, Missouri and Iowa
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time in the market
  • Ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Project Management and IT Integration within a Healthcare Environment preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in Hospital Patient Monitoring is preferred
  • PMI certification or a willingness to obtain one within a specific time period of your start date in this role
