  • Experience managing multiple implementation timelines and validating data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and data cleanup.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities while building positive relationships with HR teams and frontline managers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with applicant tracking, onboarding, HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, or background screening systems, especially platforms like ADP.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring in retail, grocery, restaurant, or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax setup, historical wage balances, and multi-state payroll compliance.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, SQL, or Jira.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar ticketing system.

Responsibilities

  • Configure applicant tracking workflows, including job postings, application forms, screening questions, hiring stages, and hiring-manager permissions.
  • Build onboarding packets and workflows, including Form I-9, E-Verify, federal and state tax withholding forms, direct deposit, policy acknowledgments, and client-specific documents.
  • Convert, import, balance, and reconcile employee data, historical wages, payroll taxes, and banking information.
  • Configure and validate payroll frequencies, earning codes, deductions, garnishments, benefits, PTO, and timekeeping.
  • Set up and test integrations between Canary and clients’ HRIS, payroll, and background check providers so new-hire data flows accurately.
  • Run quality assurance checks and resolve data, workflow, and payroll discrepancies before launch.
  • Coordinate schedules, milestones, documentation, and communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Train client HR teams, store managers, and administrators on system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing post-go-live support by troubleshooting issues, answering configuration questions, and working with Product and Engineering to resolve defects.
  • Identify ways to make implementations faster, more repeatable, and more accurate, especially for multi-location clients.
