About The Position

This position will involve leading the design and development of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems for our clients for any level of complexity within a specific functional process area. Responsibilities include owning and driving the design and development of functional process areas (Close & Consolidations, Financial Planning, Data, and Reporting) of the technical architecture on small and medium sized CPM projects. The role also involves providing and effectively communicating solution architectural assessments, design strategies, and development roadmaps. Engaging with client stakeholders to demonstrate a deep understanding of functional business processes within particular functional process areas is key. The Implementation Architect will understand the connections between technical solution possibilities and functional business requirements, and logically communicate the pros and cons of different approaches. This role will assist with the implementation of a global design review process to consistently apply platform design principles across projects, and assist with the implementation of a platform performance review and tuning process. Understanding the connection between various project build activities, and quickly assessing the risk and impact of application design decisions and changes is crucial. The role involves developing training relative to assigned CPM internal knowledge pillars to facilitate on-going internal learning & development. Collaboration with the Finit marketing team to create blogs, marketing materials, white papers, etc., is expected. Coordinating knowledge transfer and inventory of client solutions and "best" practices, and maintaining an inventory of key CPM scripts and solution accelerators are also responsibilities. Documenting Discovery/Requirements and Detailed Design questions, creating and maintaining baseline implementation instructions, check lists, and object trackers to help others implement and track the status of solution build are required. Defining drivers/estimates to help the Sales team and PDs with estimates and project planning, and identifying solutions to present to the Solutions Review Group for standardization/productionizing/marketing are part of the role. Gaining an understanding of Finit's skillset and capabilities in various solution delivery areas and determining how to share them to develop others is important. Assessing/testing/sharing knowledge of newly released features/solutions and understanding their impact on current solutions and "best" practices is also expected. Building and developing authentic client and Finit relationships, and ensuring a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects are key. Providing real-time on-the-job feedback to team members, playing a key role in critical internal Finit activities, including recruiting, training, employee enablement and performance management, and assuming ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seeking to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Will typically have 8-10+ years experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.
• Content/functional expertise in the several core EPM knowledge areas, including: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting.
• Possess an aptitude for technology and an understanding of system architecture and design requirements.
• Able to work in a highly agile environment and be flexible when requirements are not clearly defined.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise consistently good judgment.
• High competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

• Previous OneStream experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.
• CPA a plus.
