This role involves operating machinery to refurbish ion implanter modules, troubleshooting issues with vacuum systems, power supplies, and source-related problems, and collaborating with other maintenance technicians. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and cleanroom procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related technical field or equivalent military/industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor equipment, ideally ion implantation tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and vacuum systems.
  • Familiarity with implant systems such as Axcelis, Varian, or Applied Materials.
  • Comfortable working with high-voltage, vacuum, RF, and gas delivery systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment wearing full PPE.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual).
  • Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.
  • All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
