About The Position

The Implant and Tissue Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, inventory, distribution, proper charging, tracking and distribution of implants, high value items and tissues in the Operating Room environment. This position is on-site 100% on main campus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years professional experience in materials management or clinical background with exposure to implants and inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of surgical terminology, products and procedures.
  • Proficient using hospital and/or financial applications and/or systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of implants.
  • BA or BS degree and professional level experience in materials management as a buyer or closely related position OR Clinical Delivery (as a RN, Surg Tech) experience plus 1 to 2 years experience with implants and supplies.
  • Broad knowledge of tissue-specific and surgical specialty.
