About The Position

The Impact Business Support Team Manager will lead and manage the Cannabis Impact Business Support Team, coordinating with the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on matters related to impact licensee participation in the marijuana industry. This role involves conducting analysis of potential barriers to entry for small, women-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses, identifying historically economically disadvantaged communities, and recommending strategies to promote equitable participation. The manager will also provide business planning assistance, spread awareness of marketplace opportunities, offer technical assistance for licensing processes, and coordinate outreach initiatives in communities disproportionately impacted by marijuana prohibition. Collaboration with public institutions of higher education and community organizations is key to building partnerships that support a regulatory approach rooted in restorative justice, economic equity, and public health. Additionally, the role includes adhering to workplace safety regulations and reporting any unsafe conditions or work-related incidents.

Responsibilities
