About The Position

We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Immigration Coordinator to join our fast-growing legal team. This is an onsite role based in our Palo Alto, California office, supporting our legal team with case preparation, filing, and operational tasks. If you’re meticulous, thrive on keeping things running smoothly, and are excited to learn about immigration law from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you’ll work behind the scenes to support our legal team in preparing immigration cases. Your day-to-day will focus on administrative and operational tasks that are critical to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our casework. Over time, there’s room to grow into a paralegal role and take on more complex case preparation.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working on detail-heavy tasks where accuracy is critical.
  • Eager to learn about immigration law and grow into a paralegal role over time.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy contributing to operational efficiency and improving team processes.
  • Available to work onsite at our Palo Alto, California office and can reliably handle tasks requiring a physical presence.
  • Not looking for a traditional law firm environment with strict roles, long memos, and well-worn routines.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • Willing to think through how to improve the systems and processes behind the work.
  • Comfortable with 5 days a week in office.

Responsibilities

  • Printing, assembling, and shipping case materials with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Performing data entry and maintaining case files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reviewing case packets for errors or missing information.
  • Supporting internal knowledge management and document organization.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks to keep our legal operations running smoothly.
